This notice explains, in plain language, what information Luxe Landing Pages receives when you visit our website, join our Skool community, buy the Build Your First Landing Page course or the Brand Starter Kit, contact us, or choose to complete an optional course survey.
Luxe Landing Pages is operated by Latasha Woods-Hicks. If you have a privacy question, contact support@latashawoodshicks.com.
The short version
- Purchases and course access are handled through Skool and its payment services. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number or card security code.
- We receive the information needed to provide access, support you, keep purchase records, and improve the course.
- The optional feedback survey does not record your email address or name with your answers, and it has no name or personal-information questions.
- We never feature a student's work, words, photograph, or results publicly without that student's separate written permission.
- A survey answer is not permission to use your words as a testimonial or in marketing.
Information Skool gives us or lets us administer
When you join the Luxe Landing Pages community or buy a product, Skool provides or makes available to the community owner the information needed to administer your membership and purchase. This can include:
- your name or display name and the email address connected with your Skool account;
- your community membership, course or product enrollment, and access status;
- the product purchased, purchase date, amount, and transaction or refund status;
- posts, comments, and messages you choose to place in the community or send through Skool, subject to Skool's own settings and terms; and
- course-progress or completion information that Skool displays to the course administrator.
Skool runs the platform and keeps its own records under the Skool Privacy Policy. For some of what happens inside the community, Skool acts on the community owner's behalf — which is one reason this notice exists: it explains the owner's side of that handling.
Payment information
Payments are processed through Skool Payments and its payment processors, not directly by Luxe Landing Pages. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number, card security code, or bank-account credentials.
Please never send passwords or full payment-card details by email. We will never ask you to email them.
Information you send us directly
If you email support or send a direct message, we receive:
- your email address or Skool account identity;
- the contents of your message;
- any attachment you choose to send; and
- information you provide about a purchase, access problem, refund exception, permission question, or privacy request.
Please send only the information needed for your request. Support email is hosted for us by Namecheap Private Email, which processes message content and delivery information under its own terms.
The optional completion and feedback survey
A student may be offered a short, optional Course Completion & Feedback Survey through Google Forms. Taking it is voluntary, and taking or skipping it has no effect on certificate eligibility.
The survey is configured:
- not to collect email addresses, and with the one-response limit off, so no Google sign-in is required;
- with no name field and no questions asking for personal information;
- to ask about confidence, satisfaction, engagement, how far the student got with a landing page, what helped most, and what should improve; and
- so responses are stored in the survey owner's Google account and used only to improve the course. We do not publish or share individual responses.
What that does and does not mean. The form does not record your name or email address with your answers, and we do not receive technical data about you with your responses. The survey is not described as "anonymous", because Google — which operates the form — processes technical information about the apps, browsers, and devices used to reach its services, including IP addresses, under the Google Privacy Policy. That processing is Google's, under Google's terms.
Anything you voluntarily type into an open-ended answer becomes part of that response. Please do not place passwords, payment details, or information you do not want the course owner to read in a survey answer.
Survey responses are not testimonials and are not public-marketing permission.
Student work, testimonials, and results
Your landing page, project, words, photographs, and results remain yours, subject to any third-party rights and licenses that apply to them.
Luxe Landing Pages will not feature a student's project, photograph, testimonial, or results in the community, on a website, on social media, in advertising, or in other public marketing without that student's prior written permission. Silence is not permission. A student who gives permission may withdraw it for future use by contacting support; materials already distributed outside our control may not be retractable in every case, but we will stop future use and remove what we control.
Website and email technical information
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). When you visit it, Cloudflare processes standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the request — in its server records, to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site.
We have not enabled advertising trackers or third-party analytics on our website. Cloudflare offers its own analytics service, Web Analytics; it uses no cookies and no client-side state, and we will update this notice before enabling it or any other analytics, advertising, or non-essential cookie use.
When you receive email from us, our email provider may process standard technical information such as message-delivery information and the date and time of a message. This information is used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the mailbox.
How we use information
We use the information described in this notice to:
- provide community, course, and product access;
- administer purchases and any refund exception;
- answer support, policy, permission, and privacy questions;
- maintain purchase and support records;
- understand course completion and improve lessons and resources;
- protect the course materials and community, including investigating suspected sharing or resale; and
- meet accounting, dispute, and legal obligations.
When information is shared
We share information only as needed with:
- Skool and its payment processors, to operate the community, process purchases, provide access, and handle transactions;
- Google, if you choose to complete the optional Google Forms survey;
- website, email, security, and technical providers, to operate and protect the website and support mailbox;
- a person or authority when disclosure is required by law, needed to address fraud or a security problem, or needed to protect rights and safety; and
- anyone else only with your permission, such as when you separately agree in writing to be featured.
Those providers control the information they process under their own terms and privacy notices.
How long information is kept
We keep purchase, access, support, and permission records while they are reasonably needed to provide access, support the student, maintain business and accounting records, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and meet legal obligations. We do not keep information for longer than those purposes reasonably require.
Records held only by Skool, Google, a payment processor, or another provider are retained under that provider's own policies and controls.
Your choices and requests
You can update account information through the service where it is held, such as your Skool or Google account settings. You may email support@latashawoodshicks.com to ask what Luxe Landing Pages information relates to you or to request correction or deletion, subject to records we must keep for access, accounting, disputes, security, or legal reasons.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. This notice does not limit those rights.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical care for the records under our control, including keeping support access limited and using account security features offered by our providers. No online service can promise perfect security.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the new version will show its update date. Earlier dated versions will be retained in our policy records. A change applies going forward; if applicable law requires different treatment for an earlier purchase or record, the law governs.
